Primitive Farmhouse Chicken embroidery Table Topper Item #1738

This primitive farmhouse quilted table topper is handcrafted. This farmhouse table topper is very sweet and simple. The center block has a machine-embroidered vintage farm market design. The stitching is done totally in black to give it an old look. This sweet chicken, Gladys, is surely hoping to sell you some eggs and canned goods. Her favorite is apple cinnamon preserves! There is a small border that is country red with beige prairie flowers. A second border is country red with larder cream flowers and beige leaves and shadowy vines. How cute is this??? So primitive! The binding is deep black with cinnamon and red prairie flowers. There are also green leaves and vines. The binding is machine-sewn to the front of the topper and hand-sewn to the backing. The backing is red with a red and blue flowery print. What a striking combination!
This would work nicely as a fill-in between holidays. Perfect for summer decoration but could be out year-round. The perfect accessory to your country decor.
