There is also a small border on the two sides of the runner. They are navy blue with creamy flowers and dots. The borders and the appliqued stars are from the same fabric. Machine-sewn red with prairie flower print binding completes this runner. The binding is machine-sewn to the front of the runner and hand-sewn to the backing.
